I had family living in Kenya for a few years and spent a lot of time out there; it’s very entrepreneurial, but the corruption - although low for much of Africa - is still very high. Aside from the recent electoral violence it’s been one of the most stable and successful countries in East Africa. I hope they succeed in attracting more investment to the area!
