Facebook: a breakthrough in social networking or a fad?

Questions over Facebook’s past, present and future were raised at the BT centre, in London, where the British Interactive Media Association hosted The Great Face Book Debate.

London’s top internet people and guests speakers, including American cartoonist Hugh Macleod, talked about issues surrounding the site.

The audience actively participated, some, commenting the site is wasting their employee’s time; others saying it had changed the way they communicate with people.

So what do you think? Waste of time or changed the way you live your life?

A quick glance at who attended the last Breakfast Bite with Damien Mulley. Some interesting interviews by none other than Hermione Way.

The next bite has not yet been scheduled but is likely to be in January.

The quality of people at this months Top Cats was excellent as to be expected. Click on the video to get a feel for the type of people who attend and to hear what they think about the importance of networking.
